Droylsden Schools Partnership Charities Fair

On Wednesday 14th July our Droylsden Schools Partnership council representatives attended a ‘Charities Fair’ at Droylsden Academy. At the fair there were a number of different charities who met with pupils from schools across Droylsden. Our representative met with a lady from ‘Mustard Tree’. This is a charity which supports people who are homeless across the whole of greater Manchester. The charity helps people who are living on the street by providing warm clothes food and lots of other things including classes and support into housing and work. They also help people who have just got homes, providing furniture and other essentials.

The council representatives are going to share this information with the other schools at their next meeting and together they will decide on which charity they are going to support. Keep looking on our website to find out more.
