Safe Squad Visit: Safety, Respect, and Life-Saving Skills
We were delighted to welcome Safe Squad to Greenside Primary School for a morning of engaging and educational workshops focused on keeping our pupils safe, informed, and empowered.
  • Group 1 explored the world of cyber safety, learning how to stay safe on social media, recognise the risks of AI, and be cautious of unknown online 'friends'. Pupils were given practical advice on protecting their personal information and making smart choices in the digital world.
  • Group 2 took part in important discussions around anti-social behaviour, respect, and racism. Through interactive activities, they learned how their actions affect others and why it’s vital to treat everyone with kindness and fairness. The session encouraged pupils to be thoughtful, inclusive, and responsible members of their community.
  • Group 3 received hands-on training in CPR and defibrillator use, gaining confidence in responding to emergencies. They also learned about the dangers of playing in reservoirs, understanding the hidden risks and how to stay safe around water.
It was a powerful and inspiring morning, and we’re proud of how engaged and enthusiastic our pupils were throughout. A huge thank you to Safe Squad for helping us build a safer, more respectful school community.

Robinwood Fundraising

To help raise funds for their Robinwood trip, Year 6 created their own festive Christmas card designs which they will be selling!

Class Assembly - 6TH
Our pupils led a class assembly on the history of Halloween and how it’s celebrated around the world. Every child spoke confidently at the front of the hall, practicing clear articulation and voice projection. It was a proud moment for all involved, showcasing the children’s growing confidence and teamwork.
