Our school has been very lucky and has been given some baby trees and hedgerow plants by Woodland Trust. On Tuesday the 15th of November, Miss Dobb and some very lovely volunteers (Mr Gore and his work men, Mr Butler, Auntie Julie and Mrs Young to name a few) brought their spades and with the help of quite a few of our children have planted the trees and hedgerow plants in a corner of our little used, rather soggy field. Here’s hoping they grow big and strong and will be the start of our very own (very small) ‘Forest Schools’ adventure.
