Kelly Massey

On Monday 16th October 2017 we were very lucky to welcome Great British athlete Kelly Massey to Greenside. As a Olympic and Commonwealth medallist Kelly was the perfect person to give us a inspirational assembly, tell us all about an athlete's life and show us some of the equipment and souvenirs she's picked up along the way. Our sport council were lucky enough to meet and chat to her and even wear her Olympic medal.

Craig Heap.

On Wednesday 2nd November retired Commonwealth Games gold medal winning gymnast Craig Heap came to Greenside to lead an inspirational assembly. He spoke to the children about his early life and the dreams he has achieved throughout his career. The children were amazed at his talents when he showed some of his performances on the big screen. Thanks Craig. Great to have you here.

Bounceback Parkour

On Tuesday 23rd and 30th January 2018 we had the exciting opportunity to welcome Bounceback Parkour to Greenside, who worked with the year 4's and 5's. Children practised lots of skills such as climbing, jumping, swinging and dodging with the excellent support of the trained professionals. The children loved the experience in all 4 classes and the leaders from Bounceback said "Greenside were the friendliest and most welcoming school we'd been too so far"!
